摘 要:本研究考察二语水平和隐喻类型对二语写作隐喻产出过程的影响。利用键盘记录软件Inputlog 8.0收集学习者写作活动的在线数据,结合刺激性回忆与访谈,对隐喻产出过程中的停顿行为进行分析。结果显示:1)不同水平学习者在二语写作隐喻产出过程中的停顿行为存在差异,高水平组在停顿频次和时长上均显著高于低水平组;2)不同隐喻类型对停顿行为产生不同影响,相较于传统隐喻,学习者产出新奇隐喻时的停顿时间更长,频次更高;3)二语水平和隐喻类型对隐喻产出过程的影响存在显著的交互效应,高水平组产出新奇隐喻的停顿时长高于传统隐喻,低水平组在两类隐喻产出的停顿时长上不存在显著差异。研究结果对二语写作教学具有启示意义。The present study investigates the effects of language proficiency and metaphor type on the process of metaphor production in L2 writing.Adopting the keylogging software Inputlog 8.0and stimulated recall interview,the research collected online writing process data and analyzed L2learners' metaphor-related pausing behavior.The results show that(1) learners of high proficiency displayed more and longer pauses than their counterparts of low proficiency;(2) metaphor type had a significant impact on learners' pausing behavior in such a way that novel metaphors were produced with longer pauses than traditional metaphors;and(3) L2 proficiency and metaphor type had a significant interactional effect on the metaphor production process,i.e.,high-proficiency learners showed longer pauses in producing novel metaphors than conventional metaphors,while low-proficiency learners did not exhibit significant pausing differences between the two types of metaphors.These findings have some implications for the teaching of L2 writing.
