摘　　要：艾拉·弗莱格·扬是美国进步主义教育运动时期极具影响力的女性教育家。她以自身丰富的教学经验和管理经验,致力于实现学校民主管理。包括改革课程以贴合儿童生活需要、成立教师委员会以增加教师发言权、下放行政权力以削弱管理部门的冗余科层制度等。艾拉·弗莱格·扬学校民主管理实践体现出激发教育变革动力、协同多方参与的理念追求。她的学校民主管理实践直接影响了芝加哥市学校教育系统,也为教育改革的历史留下了精彩一笔。Ella Flagg Young was an influential female educator during the American Progressive Education Movement.With her extensive teaching and management experience,she is committed to the realization of school democratic management which includes reforming the curriculum to suit the needs of children’s lives,setting up teachers’committee to increase teachers’voice,and delegating administrative power to weaken the redundant bureaucracy in management.Her practices reflect herideal pursuit of stimulating the impetus for educational reform and coordinating multi party participation,directly influence the Chicago school system,and also leave a wonderful legacy for the history of education reform.
