论飞白译诗中破折号的功能  

On the Function of Dashes in Fei Bai s Poetry Translation

摘　　要：诗歌翻译家飞白的译诗中破折号的使用频率非常高,除尽量保留原诗中的破折号之外,飞白还有意在其译诗中增译了部分破折号。针对这一现象,有学者认为其译诗中个别破折号的添加似有“无由”之嫌。通过数据统计与文本细读,本文认为飞白译诗中增译的破折号并非“无由”,而在透视原诗形式、助力读者理解与传递诗歌美感3个方面均有一定的作用。这也反映出飞白重视形式、心怀读者和追求审美价值的译诗观。由此,本文认为这些破折号为读者理解飞白的译诗文本及其译诗观提供了一把解密的钥匙。Dashes present such a high frequency of occurrence in poetry translator Fei Bai's translation.In addition to retaining the dashes in original poems as much as possible,Feibai also deliberately added some dashes to his translated poems.Regarding this phenomenon,certain scholar believes that some of the dashes are rather redundant.Through specific statistics analysis and close reading of Fei Bai's translated texts,our analysis reveals that instead of being meaningless,those dashes that occur only in Fei Bai's translated texts are of great importance in showcasing poetic form,facilitating reader's understanding and conveying poetic aesthetics,which reflects certain translation principles of Fei Bai's translation philosophy,namely,his emphasis on poetry forms and consideration of the cognitive ability of target readers as well as his pursuit of aesthetics values in poetry translation.In light of this,the paper concludes that the dashes in Fei Bai's translated texts,serve as a secret key to decoding his poetry translation as well his translation thoughts.
