摘　　要：桂林是一座享有盛名的国际旅游城市,有着大量富有文化历史积淀的古桥、古道、古渡口等交通文物,对这些文物资料开展翻译及研究有助于帮助外国人士了解中国历史文化。文章将以纽马克的语义翻译与交际翻译为视角,以桂林古代交通文物为语料,探究桂林古代交通文物资料的英译,以期推动桂林旅游业的持续发展。Guilin is a famous international tourist city with many cultural and historical relics such as ancient bridges,ancient paths,and ancient crossing points.The C-E translation and study of these cultural relics are of great significance for helping foreigners to learn the Chinese history and culture.From the perspective of Newmark's semantic translation and communicative translation,with Guilin's ancient transport relics as the corpus,the English translation of the tourism texts will be explored to promote the sustainable development of Guilin's tourist industry.
