摘 要:景区是每个旅游城市最重要、最直观的文化窗口,随着经济全球化发展,旅游城市景区标识语翻译工作变得越来越重要。但由于各种原因,国内一些景区标识语的英译出现了五花八门的错误,这不仅会给城市形象带来负面影响,还会阻碍其经济与教育的发展。因此,该研究以涠洲岛为例,梳理景区标识语的英译错误,主要发现语义偏差、错译漏译、语法错误、单词拼写错误、拼音英语混译等问题,并进行原因分析,同时结合景区文化内涵与功能对等理论,提出巧用词汇对等和形式对应技巧的景区标识语翻译策略,对景区标识语进行适当、准确的英文翻译,旨在为国内景区标识语翻译研究提供新的思考。Scenic spots are the most important and intuitive cultural window of each tourist city.With the development of economic globalization,the translation of tourist city scenic spot signs becomes more and more important.However,for various reasons,there are some errors in the translation of signs in many domestic scenic spots,which will not only bring negative effects on the image of the city,but also hinder its economic and educational development.Aiming at the above problems,this study takes Weizhou Island as an example,sorts out the translation errors of scenic spot signs,including semantic deviation,mistranslation and omission,grammar errors,spelling errors,and mixed translation of Pinyin and English,and analyses the causes.Combining with the theory of cultural connotation of scenic spot signs and functional equivalence,it proposes translation strategies of scenic spot signs with vocabulary equivalence and form corresponding skills,and carries out appropriate and accurate English translation of scenic spot signs.The aim is to provide new thinking for the translation of domestic scenic signs.
