摘  要:对中美高校土木工程材料课程的课堂授课、实验及考核等方面进行比较研究。美国的土木工程材料课程设置及讲授注重实验和工程应用,重基础知识和自主学习。我国注重课堂基础教学,提倡线上教育。提出我国高校应适度增加实验学时,并根据专业方向不同对授课内容有所侧重;可借鉴美国的研究生助教制度,强化课堂和实验教学的指导以及课下与学生的沟通交流,进一步提高教学质量。This paper presents a comparative study made on the classroom teaching,experimentation and assessment of the Civil Engineering Materials courses between Chinese and American universities.Compared with domestic universities,more school hours are allocated to the experimentation in America,which illustrates the America universities putting great emphasis on students'mastery of basic knowledge and students'improvement of practical and engineering abilities,as well as their independent learning ability.In terms of teaching mode,online education is playing an increasingly important role in domestic universities.It has been proposed in this paper that Chinese universities should increase experimental hours appropriately and start to use different teaching content according to different majors.In addition,the teaching assistant system in the United States is worth learning by domestic colleges and universities.It can strengthen the communication between teachers and students after class and hereby improvethe quality of teaching.
