摘　　要：本篇访谈中,程爱民教授对美国华裔文学的发展阶段、创作趋势、中国叙事、批评现状等核心议题进行了回顾和展望。美国华裔文学经历了三个发展阶段:19世纪末到20世纪60年代的开创阶段,20世纪70、80年代的转型和成熟阶段,20世纪80年代末到90年代初以来的繁荣阶段。当前的美国华裔文学创作呈现出明显的去族裔化和多元化趋势。美国华裔作家经常采用空间叙事结构、章回体叙事、“说故事”等多种中国传统叙事策略和方法。今后的美国华裔文学研究可以重点关注美国华裔文学的文学性、美国华裔文学中的文化共同体思想、美国华裔文学自传和传记文学传统、美国华裔文学的宗教伦理主题和普适性主题、美国华裔文学的翻译与接受、美国华裔文学的国别性与全球性等。In this interview,Professor Cheng Aimin offers his insights into the development stages,the current trend,the China narrative,and the criticism of Chinese American Literature.Chinese American Literature undergoes three major development stages:the founding stage in the 1960s,the transitional and mature stage during the 1970s and the 1980s,and the prosperous stage since the late 1980s and the early 1990s.Currently,Chinese American Literature exhibits distinct trends of de-ethnization and diversification.As for the China narrative,Chinese American authors often adopt traditional Chinese narrative pattern and strategies,such as spatial narrative structure,zhanghuiti(a type of traditional Chinese novel structure with captions for each chapter),and“talk story”.Future studies can pay more attention to the following issues:the literariness of Chinese American Literature,thought of cultural community in Chinese American Literature,the biographical and autobiographical tradition of Chinese American Literature,the religious,ethical,and universal themes of Chinese American Literature,the translation and reception of Chinese American Literature,and the nationality and globality of Chinese American Literature.
