摘 要:道德品格是指与道德/伦理和不道德/不伦理的行为相关的个体特有的思维、情感和行为模式。本研究尝试考察农村留守儿童的道德品格特点及其影响因素,并与非留守儿童进行比较。研究1的访谈结果表明,一些留守儿童表现出懂事、独立、感恩、有责任心、共情等积极品格特点,同时也有留守儿童具有自制力差、不诚实、冷漠等不良品格特征。研究2发现,儿童的品格可以划分为低品格组、中间组和高品格组三种不同的潜在类别;与非留守儿童相同,教师支持和父母情感温暖得分越高,农村留守儿童越可能在高品格组,反之越可能在低品格组;同伴支持得分越低,农村留守儿童越可能在低品格组。与非留守儿童不同的是,高水平的同伴支持是留守儿童进入高品格组的保护性因素。本研究拓展了儿童品格领域的相关研究,可以为农村儿童尤其是留守儿童品格的培养提供依据,从而更好地促进他们的健康发展。Moral character refers to the individual-specific patterns of thinking feeling and behavior associated with moral/ethical and immoral/unethical behavior.The present study attempts to examine the characteristics of rural left-behind children’s moral character and the predictors and to compare them with non-left-behind children.The interview of Study 1 found that some left-behind children had positive character traits such as independence gratitude responsibility and empathy while there were also left-behind children with poor character traits such as low self-control dishonesty and indifference.Study 2 indicated that children’s character could be divided into three different latent classes low-character class average-character class and high-character class;as with non-left-behind children the higher the scores on teacher support and parental emotional warmth the more likely the left-behind children were in the high-character class;The lower the scores on teacher support and parental emotional warmth the more likely the left-behind children were in the low-character class;furthermore the lower the scores on peer support the more likely the left-behind children were in the lowcharacter class.Unlike the non-left-behind children a high level of peer support was a protective factor for the left-behind children to enter the high-character class.This study expands the related research in the field of children’s character which can provide a basis for the character development of children especially for left-behind children so as to better promote their healthy development.
