摘 要:陈子昂的《登幽州台歌》开启了中国盛唐时代诗歌的浪漫主义传统。以许渊冲的“三美论”为翻译指导原则,对《登幽州台歌》英译策略进行研究,可以从“意美”“音美”“形美”三个方面对原诗意象、押韵、句子长短等方面的翻译策略进行全面分析,旨在更好地传达原诗的意境。研究发现,在“三美论”视角下可以更加清晰地进行诗歌的翻译,对“意美”“音美”“形美”的解释和词义选择上也为译者指明了方向。在古诗英译教学中,教师可在许渊冲“三美论”的指导下,引导学生从“意美”“音美”“形美”三个方面探讨古诗英译策略。Chen Ziang’s OnClimbingYouzhouTerraceopened the romantic tradition of Chinese poetry in the mid-Tang Dynasty.Based on Xu Yuanchong’s theory of“Three Beauties”as the guiding principle,translation strategies in aspects of poem image,rhyme,sentence length were analyzed from“beauty of meaning,sound and form”,in order to better convey the original artistic conception of the poetry,providing referential model.It is found that under the guidance of Xu Yuanchong’s theory of“Three Beauties”,poetry translation can be carried out with clearer thinking,and the interpretation of“beauty of meaning”,“beauty of sound”and“beauty of form”and the words’choosing also point out the direction for translators.In the teaching of English translation of ancient poetry,teachers can guide students to explore the strategies of translating ancient poetry into English under the guidance of Xu Yuanchong’s“Three Beauties Theory”from three aspects:beauty of meaning,sound and form.
