摘　　要：从语言学和语用学视角探讨不同语境、语篇关联下精妙选词的深层翻译问题。通过对杨宪益、戴乃迭英译《阿Q正传》译词的细腻多维分析,说明文学翻译的译词选择与作品人物心理机制建构的密切关系及其语言、文化、社会意义。杨宪益、戴乃迭颇具文学韵味和美学价值的精湛译词是深度解读小说主题思想的重要切入点,也是沟通作者、小说人物、译者和读者心灵的纽带,聚焦阿Q精神胜利法之深层心理实质及社会、时代意蕴,立体再现小说主角特异性格和心理特征,生动刻画丰满典型的人物形象,留给读者更多联想和张力解读空间,展示主人公人性弱点的同时,深度再现了作者对封建社会意识形态、旧中国社会弊病的揭露与批判。From the linguistic and pragmatic perspectives,the paper discusses the issues of thick translation concerning the exquisite selection of words in different situational contexts and textual cohesion.Through a detailed and multidimensional analysis of the words selected by Yang Xianyi and Gladys Yang for the English trans⁃lation of The True Story of Ah Q,the writer shows a close relationship between the selection of words in literary translation and the construction of characters'psychological mechanism in literary works in addition to linguistic,cultural and social significance.The exquisite words carrying literary charms and having aesthetic values selected by the translators serve as a critical starting point for the reader to deeply interpret the novel's theme apart from a psychological bond for the author,the character,the translator and the reader to communicate with one another.The exquisite words focus on the psychological essence of Ah Q's means of wining a psychological victory besides social and contemporaneous implications,totally reproducing the protagonist's unique personality and psychologi⁃cal features,vividly depicting well-rounded and typical characters,successfully leaving the reader with more room for association and interpretation.The exquisite words,upon revealing the human frailties of the protagonist,essentially illustrate the author's exposure and criticism of the ideology of the Chinese feudal society plus the social ills of the old China.
