摘 要:该文以阐释学为理论基础,解析辜鸿铭《论语·学而篇》中“学”的英文翻译,在广义“学”的基础之上,运用阐释学原理,分析该篇章中有关“学”的翻译方法,诠释内里所蕴含的“君子之学”。《论语·学而篇》是《论语》的首篇,内容涉猎诸多,多以语录体的形式呈现儒家思想,其中蕴含的哲理更是中华传统文化中璀璨的瑰宝,经久不衰。该文在对辜鸿铭所译《论语·学而篇》中“学”的英文翻译进行阐释学原理分析后,发现在辜鸿铭的英译中不同情景的“学”采取了不同的翻译方法,对其内涵运用阐释学进行分析后,发现辜鸿铭在翻译时较为注重精神内涵的传达,并以此向英文读者诠释《论语》中立德修身、内圣外王及“君子之学”的传统儒家哲学观。The paper is grounded in the theoretical framework of hermeneutics,delving into the English translation of"learning"in Xue Er,the Analects of Confucius of Ku Hung-ming.Using the broader concept of"learning"as its foundation,the paper employs the principles of hermeneutics to analyze the translation methods pertaining to"learning"in this chapter,elucidating the inherent meaning of"study of gentlemen"within it.Xue Er,the Analects of Confucius is the first chapter of the whole book,which presents Confucius'thought in the form of quotations.After conducting a hermeneutic analysis of the English translations of"learning"Xue Er,the Analects of Confucius of KuHung-ming,it was found that in different contexts,"learning"was translated in various methods.Upon analyzing its connotations through hermeneutics,it was observed that KuHung-ming placed a greater emphasis on conveying the spiritual essence during his translation,thereby interpreting for English readers the traditional Confucian philosophical concepts of the"study of gentlemen"on Internal Sage and External Emperor.
