关于“易”的两条阐释进路:“生成”与“生生”

摘　　要：在易学发展的历程中,易学家对“易”的诠释分为两种:一种重生成,该说根据《易纬》提出的“易一名而含三义”理论,从“易”“变易”“不易”三个层面出发,以阴阳变易交感为核心去探寻宇宙生成的根源。该说认为宇宙存在一个物质性的本源,世间一切均从此而出,故其更注重对此本源是什么及其如何生成万物的论述,这一理论更注重阐述“什么”即易的“生成”性。另一种重“生生”,该说以《系辞传》中的“生生之谓易”为依据,一方面详细论述了“易”所强调的阴阳交感生生不息之过程,另一方面又凸显了“易”中所蕴含的继善成性、天人相续的生生不息之理。该说认为世界就是一个生生不息的过程,它不以世界的本源是什么为论述的核心,不关注那个“生成”性的本源,而是将论述重心转向世界如何生生、人如何延续这个生生,即从解释“什么”转向关注“怎么”。In the process of the development of Yi scholarship,there are two types of interpretation of"Yi"易among Yi scholars:one attaches importance to generation,and is based on the theory of"the name yi contains three meanings"proposed in Yi wei(Apocrypha of the Changes)and starts from the three levels of"change","changeability",and""no change",taking the interaction between yin and yang as the core to explore the root of the universe's generation.This theory believes that there exists a materialistic origin in the universe,from which everything in the world emerges.Therefore,it focuses more on what this origin is and how it generates all things,emphasizing more on"what",that is,the"generative"nature of Yi.The other theory emphasizes"sheng sheng"(unceasing generating),based on the statement"Yi means sheng sheng"in the Xici zhuan(Commentary on the Appended Phrases).On the one hand,it elaborates in detail on the process of the unceasing interaction between yin and yang that Yi emphasizes,and on the other hand,it highlights the principle of the continuation of goodness and the achievement of nature between heaven and man contained in Yi.It should be said that the world is an unceasing producing process,and it no longer focuses on what the origin of the world is and does not pay attention to that"generative"origin.Instead,it shifts the focus of discussion to how the world generates and how people continue the process,which turns from explaining"what"to focusing on"how".
