摘　　要：底本的选择在译者翻译过程中扮演着极为重要的角色,它反映了译者对原文本的理解和态度。就《三国演义》英译者的底本选择问题而言,具有以下几个特征:第一,译者底本选择上的高度统一;第二,英译早期存在混淆三国历史与小说的情况;第三,英译早期编译本译者对底本的考察之多和研究之深。同时,译者在选择底本时受到内外因素的共同影响,这包括译者对译本的了解情况和译介形式等内在因素,以及所处时代版本的流行度和出版者等外在因素。考察译者翻译时的底本选择,有助于我们进一步认识到翻译古典作品时底本选择的复杂性,以及底本在翻译过程中的重要价值。The selection of the source text holds immense significance in the translation process,serving as a reflection of the translator's comprehension and stance towards the original work.Concerning the selection of source texts for English translations of Sanguoyanyi,several characteristics emerge:first,uniformity among translators in their choice of source texts;second,confusion between the history of the Three Kingdoms and the fictional narrative;third,thorough investigation and profound research of early translators into their chosen source texts.Meanwhile,translators'selection of source texts is influenced by both internal and external factors.Internally,this encompasses the translators'familiarity with the translated works and the translation mode.Externally,factors such as the popularity of editions during their era and the influence of publishers also play a significant role.Analysing the translators'selection of source texts illuminates the complex process of selecting source material when translating classical works.It also underscores the profound influence wielded by the source text in guiding the translation process.
