摘　　要：To the Editor: Fatty liver diseases, including nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and alcohol related fatty liver disease, have become a major public health concern [ 1, 2 ]. Fatty liver diseases have been shown to progress through various stages, from steatosis or necrosis with inflammation and hepatocyte damage to the development of fibrosis and eventual cirrhosis with an increased risk of carcinoma [ 2, 3 ].
