《安东尼与克莉奥佩特拉》:莎士比亚的灵魂观与认知图式

摘　　要：莎士比亚在其罗马剧《安东尼与克莉奥佩特拉》中表达了自己对灵魂的认知。从认知语言学的角度入手,通过对该剧中的隐喻使用、话语中意象图式的提取和分析,可以发现莎士比亚的灵魂观深受以柏拉图为代表的古希腊文化的影响。莎士比亚在接受并认同柏拉图灵魂观的基础上重新思考了灵魂与身体的关系,批判性继承了柏拉图的灵魂观。莎士比亚的灵魂观也投射出他本人的政治观,他指出共和制的弊端,侧面支持英国的君主制,同时强调理性对统治者个人、民族和国家命运的重要意义。Shakespeare expressed his understanding of the soul in his Roman play Antony and Cleopatra.From the perspective of Cognitive linguistics,through the use of metaphor in the play and the extraction and analysis of image schema in discourse,find that Shake speare's view of the soul is deeply influenced by the Greek thought represented by Plato.On the basis of accepting and recognizing Plato'ssoul view,Shakespeare rethought therelationship between the soul and the body,critically inheriting Plato'ssoul view.It also reveals Shakespeare's political views.He opposes the Republic and supports the British Monarchy.At the same time,he emphasizes the importance of reason to the fate of rulers,individuals,nations and countries.
