摘  要:BTI、MTI和DTI等翻译专业蓬勃发展,但翻译教学中的译文质量评估仍属于薄弱环节。文章以当前迅猛发展的生成式人工智能产品ChatGPT为研究对象,介绍ChatGPT赋能翻译教学中译文质量评估流程,并探讨其带来的机遇。例如,ChatGPT有助于应对人工评估挑战、辅助教师选用评估模式,推动翻译过程评估的效率以及加快机辅评估流程;同时,分析其产生的挑战,如ChatGPT输出内容的质量不够稳定、教师的技术依赖程度增加、质量评估中人文关怀降低。未来ChatGPT将进一步赋能译文质量评估,人与ChatGPT协作评估成为发展趋势。翻译教师应遵循“多轮互动”的人机协同评估原则,坚守“以人为本”的人机协同评估理念,强调“人在回路”的人机协同评估机制,以有效应对ChatGPT给翻译质量评估带来的挑战。Currently,translation majors such as BTI,MTI,and DTI are growing rapidly,but translation quality assessment(TQA)remains a vulnerable aspect of translation teaching.This paper examines ChatGPT,a rapidly evolving generative artificial intelligence product,and its potential to empower the translation quality assessment process in educational settings.ChatGPT offers numerous benefits,including the potential to address the challenges of human assessment,assist translation teachers in selecting assessment modes,advance the assessment of the translation process,and expedite computer-aided TQA.Additionally,the paper also analyzes the challenges ChatGPT brings,such as the inconsistent quality of ChatGPT’s output,teachers’dependence on technology increases,and a reduction in the humanistic care for students during TQA.In the future,ChatGPT will further empower translation quality assessment,and human-ChatGPT collaboration will be a prominent trend.To effectively address these challenges,translation teachers should adhere to the“multi-round interaction”principle,uphold the“human-oriented”concept and emphasize the“human-in-the-loop”mechanism in human-ChatGPT collaborative assessment to effectively address the challenges posed by ChatGPT.
