人工智能与传统翻译在福州地铁公示语中的应用比较

摘　　要：随着科技的快速发展,人工智能在语言翻译领域的应用越来越广泛。以福州地铁公示语为研究对象,从公示语的简洁性、准确性和规范性入手,对比传统翻译与人工智能ChatGPT在福州地铁公示语翻译上的表现,探究人工智能技术在提升地铁公示语翻译质量方面的潜力。结果显示,人工智能翻译在简洁性方面与传统翻译相差无几,在准确性和规范性方面均优于传统翻译,但对于一些专业术语和行业规范的识别上仍有待加强。建议加强语料库建设,进一步提高人工智能翻译对特定语境和文化内涵的把握能力。With the rapid development of artificial intelligence,its widespread application in the field of language translation has attracted significant attention.This study takes the translation of Fuzhou Metro public signs as a case to explore the potential of AI technology in improving the quality of English translations of metro signs.By comparing the results of traditional translation methods with those of AI-assisted translation practices,this research evaluates the role of AI in enhancing translation efficiency and accuracy.It reveals the prospects of AI applications in the field of language translation and provides more culturally adapted English translation suggestions for existing metro signs,aiming to enhance the quality of sign translation by balancing efficiency and cultural adaptability.
