摘　　要：在“一带一路”倡议的推动下,中国文化的国际传播愈加广泛。博物馆,作为文化互鉴与历史传承的关键桥梁,其文物名称的英译质量直接关乎国际受众对中国文化的理解及接纳程度。该文依托德国著名翻译理论家Katharina Reiss的文本类型翻译评估原则,对陕西历史博物馆文物名称的英译质量进行了深入研究。旨在揭示其翻译中的不足,针对问题提出行之有效的翻译策略,为翻译工作者提供切实有效的依据,以优化陕西历史博物馆文物名称的翻译工作,也为其他博物馆文物名称翻译提供参考,进而促进我国历史文化的广泛传播,为“一带一路”建设贡献力量。Fueled by the Belt and Road Initiative,the international dissemination of Chinese culture has taken on heightened importance.Museums serve as pivotal bridges for cultural exchange and historical inheritance,and the quality of English translations of cultural relics'names in it directly impacts international audiences'understanding and acceptance of Chinese culture.This paper,grounded in the text-type translation assessment principles of the esteemed German translation theorist Katharina Reiss,undertakes a thorough study of the English translation quality of cultural relics'names in the Shaanxi History Museum.It aims to uncover both the merits and deficiencies in the translation,propose effective translation strategies to address identified issues,offers practical and valuable guidance for translators to enhance the English translation of cultural relics'names in Shaanxi History Museum,and also provides a reference for the translation of cultural relics'names in other museums.Ultimately,this endeavor seeks to promote the widespread dissemination of China's historical culture and contribute to the grand vision of the nation's Belt and Road Initiative.
