摘  要:高中英语阅读教学是英语教学的重要组成部分,它不仅承载着语言知识的传授重任,更是开启文化理解与对比之门的钥匙。通过英语阅读,学生可以接触并了解来自世界各地的文化习俗、价值观念及社会动态,进而拓宽其国际视野,并促进文化敏感度和包容性的提升。文章以“Unit 3 Celebrations”一课为例,阐述文化对比意识的内涵,强调高中英语阅读教学培养学生文化对比意识的重要性,探讨高中英语阅读教学培养学生文化对比意识的策略,以期为一线高中英语教师提供实践参考,促进高中英语阅读教学向更深层次发展。Senior middle school English reading teaching is an important component of English teaching.It not only carries the responsibility of imparting language knowledge,but also serves as the key to opening the door to cultural understanding and comparison.Through English reading,students can come into contact with and understand cultural customs,values,and social dynamics from around the world,thereby broadening their international perspective and promoting cultural sensitivity and inclusivity.Taking the lesson"Unit 3 Celebrations"as an example,this article elaborates on the connotation of cultural contrast awareness,emphasizes the importance of cultivating students'cultural contrast awareness in high school English reading teaching,and explores strategies for cultivating students'cultural contrast awareness in high school English reading teaching.The aim is to provide practical reference forfrontine high school English teachers and promote the deeper development of high school English reading teaching.
