英国高校的探究式教育模式及其对国内高校外语教学的启示

摘　　要：探究式教学以合作和讨论等形式,在使学生获得对知识的理解的同时,也培养了思辨能力和创新意识。英国的高等教育一直以来以其先进的“以人为本”的教育理念著称。这一理念也使得探究教学模式在教学中得以广泛运用。文章以英国伯明翰城市大学为例,对该校教育学院所采用的探究式教育模式和教学方法进行分析,从课堂组织形式、学生探究形式以及师生交流等方面进行探讨,以期找到其中可以借鉴的地方,更好地促进国内的外语教学。The inquiry teaching makes students understand the knowledge and cultivate their critical thinking and creative awareness as well.Higher education in England has been known for its people-centered education conception,which leads to the extensive use of the inquiry mode.With the Education School of Birmingham City University in England as an example,the teaching mode and method is analyzed in which the class form,students'inquiry form and communication between teachers and students etc.are explored to find some enlightenment so as to promote foreign language teaching in China.
