摘  要:初中英语学业水平考试(以下简称中考英语)是一项兼顾初中生毕业与升学两种考试目的的大规模高利害考试。回顾近年中考英语命题实践取得的进展,立德树人根本任务得以落实,新课标理念逐步贯彻,试题与试卷设计总体符合考生特征,传统题型命题质量逐步提升。同时,中考英语命题中也存在不少问题,如中考英语对教学的正向引导作用有待提高,试卷难度把握仍不够合理,命题技术与规范尚有提升空间等。未来应从深刻认识考试功能属性、基于原则进行测试设计、开发创新性题型、提升命题者评价素养以及加强人工智能技术赋能等方面推进中考改革。The Junior High School English Achievement Test is a high-stakes test that serves both to certify graduation and to screen students for further education.This article first reviews the accomplishments in the test development practice of the Junior High School English Achievement Test,including fulfilling the fundamental task of cultivating students with moral integrity,gradually implementing the philosophy behind curriculum standards,setting up test papers and items that conform to the characteristics of test takers,and maintaining a relatively high quality in writing traditional test items.At the same time,the article also addresses the challenges faced in test design,such as the need to enhance the positive influence of the test on teaching,the inappropriate difficulty levels of test papers,and the need to improve techniques for item writing.Finally,this article looks forward to the future development of the test development practice of the Junior High School English Achievement Test from the perspectives of deepening the understanding of its purposes,adopting principled test design,developing innovative item types through prototyping tasks,enhancing item writers’assessment literacy,and empowering test design by artificial intelligence.
