摘  要:Major depressive disorder(MDD)is a debilitating mental health condition that ranks second in the global burden of human diseases[1].Despite extensive research,the etiology and pathogenesis of MDD remain poorly understood.Disturbance of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal(HPA)axis mediated by glucocorticoid receptor(GR)dysfunction has been recognized to be associated with the occurrence of MDD[2].
