生态翻译理论视域下贾平凹《浮躁》方言英译

摘　　要：方言是指某一地区的语言变体,是语言多样性的重要体现,同时,它作为一种文化载体,承载着独特的民族文化,在传承和发扬当地传统文化中扮演着重要角色。所以保护方言就是保护传统文化,传承方言就是促进语言多样性,促进文化交流,同时增强地方认同感与民族自豪感。陕西是中华民族和华夏文明的重要发祥地之一,中国古代历史上包括周、秦、汉、唐等在内的14个王朝都曾在这里建都,陕西方言曾是当时的官方语言,因此它蕴含着深厚的历史文化底蕴,具有独特的语言风格及地域特色,在翻译中给译者带来了巨大的挑战。文章基于生态翻译理论,结合艾克西拉学者提出的11项文化专有项翻译方法,对贾平凹《浮躁》方言英译进行探析,阐释了在三维转换视角下,可采取语言翻译法、归化法、绝对世界化法以及文内注释法进行方言英译,除此之外,关于方言中出现的语气助词,在必要时可采用删除法,而对于詈骂语的翻译可采取有限世界化法,以期为陕西方言的英译提供参考,从而促进地方文化的对外传播。Dialect refers to the language variety of a certain region,and it is an important embodiment of linguistic diversity.At the same time,as a cultural carrier,it also carries unique national culture and plays an important role in inheriting and developing local traditional culture.Therefore,to protect dialects is to protect traditional culture,and to inherit dialects is to promote linguistic diversity and cultural exchanges,and also enhance local identity and national pride.Shaanxi is one of the important birthplace of the Chinese nation and Chinese civilization.Fourteen dynasties,including Qin,Tang,Han and Zhou,built their capitals here in ancient Chinese history.Shaanxi dialect was once the official language at that time,so it contains profound historical and cultural deposits,has unique language style and regional characteristics,bringing great challenges to translators in translation.Based on the eco-translation theory and combined with 11 culture-specific translation methods put forward scholar by Exela,this study analyzes the English translation of dialect of Jia Pingwa's turbulence,and explains that from the perspective of three-dimensional transformation,linguistic translation,domestication,total generalization and annotation within the text can be adopted for dialect translation,in addition,omission can be used in the modal particles appearing in dialects when necessary,and the curse words can be translated by limited generalization,so as to provide references for the English translation of Shaanxi dialects and promote the spread of local culture.
