A new type of teaching model that integrates multiple disciplines of medicine based on a teaching experimental platform with virtual reality(VR)technology is built. The clinical scenes of acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)are simulated to provide an immersive learning experience, enabling medical students to deeply understand the pathophysiological mechanisms, diagnostic criteria, and treatment strategies of ARDS,while intuitively understanding the mutual influence between ARDS and the entire body system. The multidisciplinary integrated education model based on VR technology not only enhances students'practical skills but also promotes their understanding and response ability to complex clinical situations, improves students'overall clinical thinking ability, cultivates compound critical medical talents with a multidisciplinary background, and provides a new paradigm for establishing and improving the transformation of medical digital education.
