摘  要:20世纪70年代末以来,翻译实践在专门用途英语课堂中的作用得到研究者关注。从课程设计角度来看,相关领域的研究值得进一步探索。本文基于专门用途英语课堂中翻译实践的作用及其特点,以法律文本翻译为例,分不同层面探讨翻译实践课程设计的一些思路。结果表明:学期教学中采用结构化的动态教学,有利于将教学周的教学主题与循序渐进的教学方法有效结合。教学资源的选择需考虑资源与翻译技能的匹配关系,其中语言资源、情境资源、专门用途知识的比例要保持平衡。翻译实践的难度可在因材施教基础上参照阅读难度来设计,同时考虑学习者的背景、学习兴趣、语言水平等因素。翻译实践重点需聚焦不同体裁的法律文本,解读主要体裁类型的语篇结构与话语方式,以利于在翻译中体现这些文体特征。Since the late 1970s,the role of translation practice in ESP has received attention from researchers.Taking legal text translation as an example,this article explores a curriculum design from different levels based on the roles and characteristics of translation practice in ESP teaching.The results indicate that structured and dynamic teaching in the whole semester can effectively integrate specific teaching themes of each week into progressive teaching methods.While selecting teaching resources,teachers need to consider the matching between resources and translation skills,which helps to maintain a balance among the proportion of language resources,situational resources,and specialized knowledge.On the basis of individualized teaching principle,the difficulty level of translation practice can be set with reference to level of reading difficulty,taking factors such as the learner's background,learning interests,and language proficiency into consideration.Legal texts of different types should be covered in translation practice.Decoding the textual structure and discourse mode of these texts can help learners represent these stylistic features in translation.
