摘　　要：高职院校学生英语基础参差不齐。对此,在公共英语教学中,可采用情境教学法,调动学生的学习积极性,提高学生的学习兴趣,提高学生英语口语表达能力,从而有效地改善英语教学效果。This paper aims at researching in public English teaching in higher vocational colleges.It analyses the phenomenon of the students’uneven English foundations and lack of interest in English.Based on the Situated Cognition theory,it proposes some teaching strategies to motivate students'enthusiasm for learning and help improve their oral English expression ability.And finally,it can effectively promote the reform of English classroom teaching and enhance teaching effectiveness.
