认知识解视角下中国维和白皮书汉英翻译策略研究

摘　　要：本文以认知识解理论为指导,重点分析中国维和白皮书汉英翻译的认知识解特点和翻译策略。结果发现,译者从四个维度对源语和译语进行识解,形成了以下翻译策略:(1)语义细化和抽象化以及借用语言形式显化小句间的逻辑语义;(2)汉语的概念A聚焦于英语的概念B和汉语的定语前置式聚焦到英语的定语后置式聚焦;(3)汉语的“突显起因”到英语的“突显结果”和汉语部分射体识解为目标语强调射体;(4)主客体视角转化、主语显化、使用形式主语it,以及视角扫描方式转换。Guided by the cognitive construal theory,this research focuses on the exploration of the cognitive construal characteristics and translation strategies in the Chinese-English translation of Chinese peacekeeping White Paper(China's Armed Forces:30 Years of UN Peacekeeping Operations).It is found that the translator construed the source and the target languages from four dimensions:(1)the translator employs the translation strategies of semantic refinement,abstraction and explicit logical linguistic forms between clauses;(2)the translator adopts the strategies of transforming focus of concept A in Chinese to that of B in English and transforming focus of"complex adjective+noun"in Chinese to that of"noun+complex adjective"in English;(3)the translator uses the strategies of transforming cause as prominent part in Chinese to that of result as prominent part in English,and part of trajector in Chinese to emphasiz trajector in English;(4)the translator applies the strategies of shift of subjective to objective perspective,explicitness of subject,the notional subject"It"as subject and conversion from static to dynamic scanning mode.
