摘　　要：文章探讨了机器翻译在大学英语翻译教学中的应用效能,以ChatGPT-4o为例,评估其英汉互译表现。通过人工错误标注分析与BLEU自动评分的混合方法,发现该模型在基础翻译任务中表现良好,但在复杂句法结构和文化背景处理上存在不足。基于此,文章反思当前翻译教学的不足,提出改进策略,为优化大学英语翻译教学提供实证依据。This article explores the application of machine translation in college English teaching,taking ChatGPT-4o as an example to evaluate its performance.By analyzing the errors in translations generated by ChatGPT and assessing them based on BLEU scores,it found that the model performs well in basic translation tasks but required improvement in handling complex grammatical structures and culturally specific content.Based on the results,the study reflects on the current shortcomings in translation teaching and proposes corresponding teaching strategies,providing empirical evidence for optimizing translation teaching in college English class.
