美国高校跨学科研究生培养的创新举措:组织模式与运行机制——以美国密歇根大学拉克哈姆研究生院为例

摘  要:美国密歇根大学拉克哈姆研究生院,在组织模式和运行机制上采取一系列措施,积极开展跨学科研究生培养创新实践探索,现已成为美国跨学科研究生教育的典范。组织模式上,灵活部署研讨会项目、跨学科课程证书项目、双学位项目和跨学科学位项目。运行机制上,创造性形成了人才识别机制、个性化与建制化并存的设计机制、多向学分认证和转换机制以及跨学院教师联合聘任机制。在我国加速培养高素质跨学科人才的背景下,其经验可为我国跨学科研究生教育改革提供些许借鉴,以加速跨学科人才培养进程。The Larkham Graduate School of the University of Michigan,has taken a series of measures in the organisational model and operational mechanism to actively carry out the exploration of innovative practices in interdisciplinary postgraduate training,and has become a model of interdisciplinary postgraduate education in the United States.In terms of organisational mode,it flexibly deploys seminar programs,interdisciplinary course certificate programs,dual-degree programs and interdisciplinary degree programs.In terms of operational mechanism,a mechanism for talent identification,a design mechanism for co-existence of individualisation and establishment,a mechanism for multi-directional credit accreditation and conversion,and a mechanism for joint appointment of teachers across colleges have been creatively formed.In the context of accelerating the cultivation of high-quality interdisciplinary talents in China,its experience may provide some lessons for the reform of interdisciplinary postgraduate education in China,so as to accelerate the process of cultivating interdisciplinary talents.
