翻译汉语“被”字结构的复杂度研究

摘　　要：本文基于燚炎英汉平行语料库和ToRCH2009现代汉语语料库,获取翻译汉语“被”字结构2733例、原创汉语“被”字结构1769例以及原创英语“be-passive”结构5957例,通过计算依存距离考察翻译汉语“被”字结构复杂度特征。研究发现:1)翻译汉语“被”字结构整体复杂度与原创汉语无显著差异,而局部呈现简化和复杂化并存的特征;2)翻译汉语“被”字结构整体复杂度在四种文体中均与原创汉语无显著差异,而局部复杂度呈现不同的特征;3)源语英语“be-passive”结构整体和局部复杂度对翻译汉语“被”字结构有不同的影响。这些发现对于揭示翻译深层语言特征、认识翻译共性问题、探究翻译过程等具有重要意义。This study investigated the complexity characteristics of translated Chinese bei-passive by calculating dependency distances using a comprehensive dataset.This dataset encompassed 2,733 instances of translated Chinese bei-passive,1,769 instances of original Chinese bei-passive,and 5,957 instances of original English be-passive sourced from the YIYAN English-Chinese parallel corpus and the ToRCH2009 Modern Chinese corpus.The analysis revealed the following findings:(1)the global complexity of translated Chinese bei-passive did not significantly differ from that of original Chinese bei-passive,but the local complexity presented a mixed picture,with both simplification and complication observed;(2)across four different genres,the global complexity of translated Chinese bei-passive remained largely similar to that of original Chinese bei-passive,whereas the local complexity exhibited distinct differences;(3)the global and local complexity of original English be-passive had varying effects on the bei-passive in translated Chinese.These findings offer valuable insights into the deeper linguistic features of translational language,contribute to our understanding of translation universals,and pave the way for further exploration of the translation process.
