摘 要:本文主要讨论即席口译的理解过程。文章首先探讨口译模式及其组成部分 ,然后以吉尔的口译理解模式为依据 ,具体分析语言知识、言外知识及其在口译理解过程中所起的作用。文章还用心理语言学和认知语言学的知识分析译员理解时的信息加工过程。文章最后着重强调言外知识在口译理解过程中的重要性 。This paper aims at describing the comprehension process in consecutive interpreting. It first explores the interpreting models and the main components of interpreting process and then puts the main focus on Gile's comprehension model which attaches great importance to interpreters' linguistic knowledge, extra linguistic knowledge, and the ability to analyze the SL text. In the ensuing part, the three components of Gile's model are discussed in detail and the analysis of the SL text is given priority. The paper ends by further emphasizing the important role of interpreters' extra linguistic knowledge in performing their job and expecting more and more interpreters trained for cross cultural communication.
