摘　　要：本文指出了Ara Basmajian在美国数学会出版的“Contemporary Mathematics”第221 卷中提出的一个关于Teichmuller空间的问题的答案是完全否定的.In this paper we point out that the answer to a problem on Teichmuller spaces proposed by Ara Basmajian is always negative.
