摘 要:"自主学习"是指以学生为教学中心,强调学习者在学习过程中的决定性作用的学习模式。主要通过对莆田学院非英语专业一、二年级本科生进行问卷调查,旨在探究非英语专业大学生拥有的英语自主学习能力情况。结果显示:大部分非英语专业大学生自主学习能力普遍低下。他们学习动机和学习目标浅薄,不懂制定有效的学习计划,缺乏学习英语的自信心,对学习策略了解甚少,无法对自己学习进行监控或正确的评估。根据调查结果,分析原因并提出相应的有效措施,以期有效提升非英语专业大学生英语自主学习能力,促进教学质量。Learner autonomy refers to the model which is student-centered and emphasizes the decisive role of learners in the learning process. A questionnaire survey was conducted on non-English major college students about their learner autonomy. The major findings are as follows: Most of the students surveyed have low autonomous learning ability. They are shallow in learning motivation and learning goals, and don't know how to work out effective learning plans, which leads to their lacking of self-confidence in learning English.Besides, they have little knowledge of learning strategies, thus being unable to actively monitor or accurately assess their learning process. Based on the results, this paper proposes some corresponding suggestions,aiming to enhance the non-English majors self-learning ability and promote the teaching quality.
