摘 要:口译和笔译不同,有很强的现场性,对译员的心理素质和公共讲话能力有很高的要求。因此,口译教学除了语言文化和口译技巧方面的训练外,还应注重对学生的心理承受力、临场应变能力、公共讲话能力的培养。教师应利用有限的资源,通过营造口译气氛、在课堂上模拟大会翻译、记者招待会、对话翻译等教学手段,并辅之以正确的课堂评估方法,帮助学生完成向一个合格译员转变的心理准备过程。Interpretation is different from translation in that it demands a strong mentality and good public speaking ability of the interpreter. Based on this evident observation, the paper suggests that in classroom training, adequate emphasis should be given not only to the teaching of interpreting skills and the cultures of the source and target languages, but also to students' mentality, presence of mind and public speaking ability. For this purpose the paper recommends a number of training approaches, such as simulating realistic interpreting environments, conference interpretating, press conference as well as dialogue interpretating so as to prepare students both psychologically and vocationally for their future job.
