摘　　要：多媒体网络技术的飞速发展,为英语多媒体教学提供了一个技术平台.而建构主义理论和现代信息技术是多媒体教学体系的两个支点.只有将两者融合为一体,才能形成合理、有效的教学体系.据此,本文讨论了多媒体教学的理论、设计以及以多媒体网络技术为主的现代教育信息技术在英语教学中的应用等相关问题.The fast development of multimedia network technique has opened up a new field for multimedia assisted English teaching. This paper points out it is essential to combine the constructivism theory and modern information technology, which will make the teaching system more reasonable and effective. Based on this opinion, this paper discusses the theories of multimedia assisted English instruction , teaching design and the application of modern educational information technology focusing on multimedia network technique in college English teaching.
