摘　　要：不同的民族有着不同的认知思维方式,英汉成语隐喻与英汉民族思维方式密不可分;英汉成语在设喻上存在着许多差别。因此,在进行英汉成语互译时要注意对隐喻进行对应处理。Different nations have different ways of thinking. Metaphors in English and Chinese have a close relationship with the ways of thinking of British and Chinese people. The idioms of these two languages use different metaphors to express the similar meaning. Therefore, it is necessary to deal with the metaphorical phenomena in the idioms of these two languages in the course of translation.
