摘　　要：文章主要探讨了Howard Gardner在20世纪80年代初提出的多种智力理论。在此基础上,进一步指出多种智力理论对外语教学活动安排的启示。多种智力理论使我们认识到在智力的发展结构上,存在着个体差异,因此在教学活动中,应因人施教,帮助学生在学习语言技能的过程中,获得全方位的发展。The paper studies the theory of multiple intelligences (MI) proposed by Howard Gardner in the early 1980's. On the basis of the theory, the paper points out its implications for the arrangement of foreign language teaching (FLT) activities. The theory makes us realize that there exists individual difference in the development structure of intelligence. Therefore, FLT activities should be performed according to individual differences. In the process of learning language skills,students should be helped to get versatile education.
