高校单招生外语学习焦虑之调查分析

摘  要:焦虑是影响外语学习的重要情感因素之一,对外语学习有着普遍的负面影响。该文采用FLCAS量表,对某高校的121名单招生的外语学习焦虑进行了调查。结果发现:(1)高校单招生存在较强的外语学习焦虑;(2)在5种焦虑中,焦虑感的程度由高到低排序依次为害怕外语学习失败、交际焦虑、害怕负面评价、外语课的消极态度、考试焦虑。文章进一步分析了高校单招生产生外语学习焦虑的原因,并相应地提出了一些建议。Anxiety,one of the important affective factors affecting foreign language learning,has a damaging effect on foreign language learning. By means of FLCAS( Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale) questionnaire,this paper analyzes foreign language anxiety among 121 independent enrollments. It turns out that the independent enrollments in the university have very high FLA,among whom male students have higher FLA than females. Among the 5 types of FLA,fear of failure in FL learning scores the highest,communication apprehension,fear of negative evaluation,negative attitude toward FL classes and test anxiety scores in turn respectively. The result of t-test suggests that there is no significant difference between genders. Meanwhile,the vital causes of FLA are explored and some suggestions are provided to help release independent enrollments from FLA.
