英语谚语跨文化交际语境分析及其汉译策略

摘　　要：本研究从跨文化交际的视角,在自然地理环境、宗教文化、民族习俗、历史文学、价值观和思维方式等六种英汉谚语形成的语境进行多维度对比分析,总结出用直译、意译、直译加意译、注释翻译、对称翻译和特殊句型翻译六种具体的策略来汉译英语谚语,以期能恰当地理解和运用谚语,使语言生动活泼风趣,增强表现力,助益于跨文化交流。From the perspective of intercultural communication, a comparative analysis of the contexts in which English and Chinese proverbs had formed respectively was made in the aspects of physical geography, religious environment, tradition custom, history and literature and values and thinking mode. And from this analysis six strategies(literal translation, free translation, literal-free translation, exegesis translation, symmetry translation and special-structure translation) were abstracted for translating English proverbs into Chinese: in hope of being able to understand and apply the proverbs properly, express them lively and vividly and improve intercultural communication.
