摘　　要：文章依据文献检索与利用课所要达到的目的 ,从学科性质和教育功能两个角度论证了该课程在高等教育中的定位 ,并在此基础上阐明了它的三大发展趋势。This paper discusses the place of the information retrieval and use course in higher education from the perspective of its subject nature and educational functions. It also identifies three development trends in the delivery of this course.
