摘　　要：从理论上阐明了美国英语的明显特征,并通过实例说明美国英语和英国英语之间的细微差异,提醒英语学习者在跨文化交际中应时文化差异给予足够的重视。This article sums up clear features of the American English, and illustrates with examples that we should not overlook the subtle differences between the American English and the British English. At the same time, English learners are reminded of paying close attention to the cultural differences in multinational-cultures communication.
