摘　　要：本文重点讨论Gutt关于直接翻译的思想,通过对文学翻译的实例,从一个侧面澄清了人们对关联理论的一些误解,从而证明这个理论对包括文学翻译在内的跨文化语言交际有着充分的解释力。This essay focuses on Gutt' s notion of direct translation. Through the examination of a number of cases of literary translation, it aims to clarify some of the misunderstandings about relevance theory. It illustrates how the theory can provide an adequate account of cross-cultural and interlingual communication including literary translation.
