摘　　要：中国教育传统是在中国传统文化的基础上形成的。要了解中国教育传统,转变传统教育观念,就不可不了解中国传统文化对中国传统教育的影响。中国文化有丰富的优秀的内核,也有封建的糟粕,需要运用历史唯物主义的方法加以研究和区别,以取其精华,去其糟粕,为今天实现教育现代化服务。China's education tradition is developed upon the basis of traditional Chinese culture. The understanding of Chinese education and transformation of traditional educational ideas should be preceded by the learnings from the impact of traditional Chinese culture on Chinese education. For the sake of China's educational modernization, Chinese culture embedded with both fine traditions and feudal remains should be studied from a perspective of historical materialism, by means of 'rejecting the dross and assimilating the essence'.
