摘　　要：本文从翻译活动的社会性出发 ,通过探讨语言因人而异的社会变体——个人方言对翻译过程中理解与表达两个基本步骤的影响 ,来揭示文学翻译中译者风格的必然性。Proceeding from translating as a social activity, the paper aims to disclose the unavoidability of the translator's style in literary translation by looking into the influence of idiolect, a social variety of a person's language, on the two basic procedures in translating process, i.e. comprehending and rendering of the original text.
