摘　　要：英语教学的目的是培养学习者准确、流利、得体、有效地进行跨文化交际的能力。要实现这一目标,学习者文化能力的培养至关重要。文化导向型英语教学模式正是注重这种文化能力的培养,把文化既看作手段又视为目的,从而形成跨文化交际的能力。English language teaching is to enable learners to use English accurately,fluently,appropriately,and effectively in their future cross-cultural communication.To achieve this goal,the culture-oriented English language teaching approach is the key.For it sees culture both as a means and as an ultimate aim,thus helps develop learners’cultural competence,which right leads to their efficient intercultural communication.
