摘  要:教育是推动国家和民族进步的关键。但是,随着社会竞争的不断升级,应试教育问题在英语教学中越来越严重。尽管应试教育在一定程度上有助于选拔英语人才和提高学生的英语知识水平,但其过度强调“唯分数论”的做法也带来了许多负面影响。因此,文章深入研究并探讨应试教育在英语教学中产生的问题并提出策略,这对于推动英语教育改革和提高英语教育质量具有重要意义。Education is the key to the progress of the country and the nation. However, with the continuous escalation of social competition, the problem of exam-oriented education becomes more serious in English teaching. Although exam-oriented education is helpful in selecting English talents and improving students’ English knowledge level to a certain extent, its over-emphasis on “only fraction theory” has also brought many negative effects. Therefore, this paper deeply studies and discusses the problems of examination-oriented education in English teaching and puts forward strategies, which is of great significance to promote the reform of English education and improve the quality of English education.
