摘 要:着重阐释《论语》中的几个核心概念内涵。认为“论语”意指“孔子弟子经过讨论选择和编排孔子与弟子的言语的书”;“仁”包含“爱人”、“仁德”、“仁道”等意思;“道”包含“根本性的认知”、“道义”、“学说”、“准则或方法”“理想或理念”等意思;“君子”或指“品德高的仁人”、“有智慧好学的人”,或指“有地位、有风度的人”;“小人”有时指称“胸无大志、识见浅狭的人”,有时指“普通人”,有时只是对儿童的称谓,并不都是指“品行低劣的人”。Several core concepts are interpreted in this paper and it is considered that Confucian Analects, equivalent to Chinese Lunyu (论语), refer to the books, which were edited by Confucian disciples, and recorded the speech or conversations between Confucius and his disciples. Benevolence, equivalent to Chinese Ren (仁), contains loving a person as oneself, kindheartedness and kindness ethics;doctrine, equivalent to Chinese Dao (道), contains essential cognition, morality principles, theories, standards or methods, ideas or beliefs;gentleman, equivalent to Chinese Junzi (君子), means a kindly man of high character, a person with wisdom and eagerness to learn, or a man of high status and good manners;villain, equivalent to Chinese Xiaoren (小人), sometimes refers a man of shallow knowledge and no ambitions, sometimes refers to a ordinary man and sometimes is used as the appellation to the kids instead of defining the man of inferior behaviour.
