摘 要:在这个信息高速发展的时代,各国之间的文化交流更加频繁。翻译在各国经济文化和跨文化交流中扮演着越来越重要的沟通和联系作用,社会对翻译的需求体现在各个领域。为了使外国游客更好的去了解和体验中国文化,要在让目的语受众充分理解和接受原文信息的基础上进行翻译,找到更加适合的翻译策略。本文运用功能翻译理论,具体从语言、语用、文化和其他失误四个方面的失误出发,对所截取的红色文化旅游英译文本进行探析。运用功能翻译理论下的三大原则去分析英译文本中存在的问题,并据此提出有效的改进措施和策略。以期最大程度地传递文化信息,更好的满足旅游者的需求。In this era of rapid information development, cultural exchanges between countries are more frequent. Translation plays a more and more important role in the communication and connection between countries’ economic and cultural exchanges and the social demand for translation is reflected in various fields. In order to enable foreign tourists to better understand and experience Chinese culture, it is necessary to find a more suitable translation strategy on the basis of fully understanding and accepting the original information of the target language audience. Based on functional translation theory, this paper analyzes the English translation of red culture tourism from the aspects of language, pragmatics and culture. This paper applies the three principles of functional translation theory to analyze the problems existing in English translation and puts forward effective improvement measures and strategies. In order to maximize the transmission of cultural information, and better meet the needs of tourists.
