从归化异化理论视觉探析文学翻译——以张爱玲自译《金锁记》为例

摘  要:文学作品作为语言艺术的瑰宝,不仅展现了语言文字的魅力,还承载了深厚的文化内涵和社会背景,因此要想在文学翻译中精准地再现原作的语言风格和内涵,十分具有挑战性,往往会造成译文生硬晦涩或是脱离原文内涵等翻译问题。由张爱玲自译的中篇小说《金锁记》涉及大量具有中国特色的语言表达,并运用了归化和异化两种翻译策略进行表达。该文从归化与异化理论视角,对《金锁记》英译本的表达及其效果进行了研究,旨在探析如何在文学翻译中恰当运用归化与异化策略来加强译文的可读性,并最大限度地实现跨文化交流的目的。Literary works as the treasure of language art, not only show the charm of language, but also contain rich cultural connotation and social background. Therefore, it is a significant challenge to reproduce the language style and quintessence of the original work in literary translation, which often leads to problems of literal and obscure translation or translation divorced from the deep meaning of the original text. The Golden Cangue wrote and translated by Eileen Chang involves a large number of expressions with Chinese characteristics by adopting both domesticating translation and foreignizing translation. The article from the perspective of domestication and foreignization, analyzes the translation and effects of The Golden Cangue to study how to properly use domestication and foreignization in literary translation, to strengthen the readability of translated texts and achieve the purpose of cross-cultural communication to the maximum.
