摘 要:电子游戏是互联网背景下一种新的娱乐与艺术形式,具有强大的跨文化交际功能。随着外国电子游戏大量涌入中国市场,电子游戏文本翻译已经成为游戏本地化中不可或缺的一部分,目前处于高速发展状态,但游戏翻译缺乏行业规范性,翻译质量参差不齐。本文以勒弗维尔改写理论为指导,以中国大陆地区游戏本地化翻译的发展历程、现状和前景为线索,以《赛博朋克2077》《战争雷霆(War Thunder)》等著名电子游戏的官方英文版和中文版文本为例对游戏文本本地化的翻译现状进行对比研究,旨在探讨其合理有效的翻译策略与方法。The video game is a new art and entertainment in the Internet era, featuring a strong intercultural function. As more foreign video games are being imported to Chinese market, the translation service market of the video game texts, which takes an indispensable part in localisation, is thriving rapidly. However, due to the lack of industry standardization, the quality of products varies greatly. Under the guidance of Lefevere’s Rewriting Theory, this paper takes the development process, current circumstance, and expectation of the video game localisation translation in Chinese Mainland as clues, and takes the official English and Chinese versions of the text of famous video games such as Cyberpunk 2077 and War Thunder as examples to conduct a comparative study of the current translation situation of game text localization, aiming to explore its reasonable and effective translation strategies and methods.
